Beth Shaw

BETH SHAW began practicing yoga at age six, having taught herself to do meditation and guided imagery to cure migraine headaches. Her love of Fitness began at AGE 15 when she started weight training and studying nutrition and psychology in high school
BETH has been teaching Yoga since 1993 and has become her number one passion. By the mid-90s, she launched YogaFit, which is now the world’s largest yoga, mind, body, education company. Since its official inception in 1997, YogaFit has trained millions of individuals on all seven continents.
Additionally, Beth holds various degrees and certifications in yoga, fitness and MIND-BODY techniques, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration and Nutrition from Long Island University. She received her post graduate degree from Harvard Business school and her Fitness Certificate from UCLA
BETH has taught Yoga in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Europe, Sweden, as well as across Asia, with a focus on Japan where YogaFit has studios and does work in the healthcare system. YogaFit has been bringing groups to India, the birthplace of Yoga since 2008.
She believes in empowering individuals to take greater control of their physical and mental health, and is the host of the popular podcast Make America Healthy, available wherever podcasts live.
She is the AUTHOR of four best selling books on health and wellness: YogaFit , YogaLean, the YogaFit Athlete and her most recent book Healing Trauma with Yoga. She is a frequent speaker at corporate events and conferences worldwide.
